Little Red Riding Hood Photo Shoot

Here are a few pictures from a Little Red Riding Hood shoot that I did. I shot these photos using my Nikon D3200. They're part of a fairy tale characters photo shoot that I'm doing.

  1. Hi Emily! I love the series that you are doing! I like the third photo a lot... the way you have the subject posing in front of the trees in the background makes a perfect contrast against one another. I also like the lighting in the first, fourth, and sixth photo. I'm excited to see your future posts!

  2. I think that you did an amazing job on this shoot, you set the scene perfectly. I love the second, third, and fourth photos!

  3. I especially like the last shot; the cape is dramatically lit and the feeling is one of mystery and uncertainty, especially because the subject's face isn't shown.

  4. I have been wanting to do a few fairytale shoots of my own! I absolutely love the way you used the sunlight available to enhance the mood of these images. They are wonderful!

  5. I am in love with this idea! I've been working on a horror theme lately and although little red riding hood isn't exactly horror, the eeriness of these photos makes me feel it. It's basically a darker twist on a "innocent" fairy tale. Very creative!

    1. Thank you so much!
I was kind of taking a dark twist to the story. If you think about it, the story itself is kind of dark..haha.
